Fish,
Frogs, and Fun!
Here's
the group shot at the very end of the camping trip. Looks like we've been
camping for a few days, doesn't it?
Look! Mountain Goats! Oh, wait, those are my sons.
They spent quite a bit of time climbing this big old stump of a tree in our campsite.
Here's
one of Karina's favorite things from our camping trip: Adalei! (otherwise
known as 'Badowen')
The
fishing was great on Sagehen Reservoir: All the kids were geared up and
ready to go. Trevor was the first little fisherman to catch a fish, then
Enoch reeled in one of Nate's, and there was Karina. Waiting and waiting
to catch her fish. Keep at it, Karina!
Trevor caught a second (both on his own!) What a little fisherman!
and then, FINALLY!, Karina got her fish too.
She was so happy to finally get her turn.
Fun on the Lake!
We
love playing in water, digging in the dirt, paddling around with Nate
& Misty's kayak, etc.
And
let's not forget the wildlife!
The
ground squirrels were so mischevious. They had no fear as they came into
our campsite whenever we weren't there (and sometimes when we were). Misty
even caught them (back at camp with a sleeping baby) taking Aaron's fishing
pole case!
And then there were the beloved little frogs. My kids could not get enough of them. So tiny! Even smaller than Curtis' hand.
